The Arc of Ohio Northeast Branch
The Arc of Ohio Northeast Branch was established in 1955 by parents of children with developmental disabilities to assist individuals with developmental disabilities.
The mission of the organization has remained constant and is to “advocate for human rights, personal dignity and community participation of individuals with developmental disabilities through information, education, family involvement and legislative and social action.”
Areas of Focus
The Arc of Ohio Northeast Branch focuses its efforts on three main areas that promote the welfare of persons with developmental disabilities: Public Awareness and Education; Parent Advocacy, Support, Education, Information & Referral; and Social/Recreational Programs.

The Arc of Ohio Northeast Branch seeks to empower families by providing support, education, and information on specific topics; raising awareness and understanding of programs and services, and how to access those services to meet the ever-changing needs of their child with special needs.
